Hello loyal readers! Instead of a quote, this week, I decided to post a thought that will make you think the next time you yawn. Now it requires some imagination; do you think you can handle it? Are you ready?
Imagine this: You are in the library writing a paper, minding your own business, and all of sudden you start yawning. You don’t understand why. You slept a solid eight hours last night. A couple of minutes after you yawn; you notice the person in the cubical a little ways down from you also yawned, and then another person, and another person! It is a domino effect of yawns! It can be explained as simply your brain needing more oxygen or maybe you need to log out of Twitter or stop reading the Rambassadors Blog and fall asleep sooner. Instead of thinking of it that way, try thinking of it this way – the way in which you present yourself and your personality can greatly influence other people.
As much as we want to think that the world revolves around us, we all know how wrong that statement is. The smallest little thing can make a huge impact on a person’s life. For example, a person could be having the worst day and nothing is going his or her way. Then you just walk by and smile. That smile has enough power to change that person’s attitude, maybe not for the whole day but at least that one moment.
That is all for this week folks. I have to write a paper. It is the 21st century; you would think that we would have the technology that would write the paper for us. Oh well!
This is Rammy Liv signing off for this week. See you next week for another quote to make you think.
“Goodnight and good luck.”
